Ana Luísa Amaral

Poet and translator, she taught English Literature at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. She has devoted herself to Feminist Studies, Gender Studies, Comparative Poetics and Queer Studies. The author of eight books of poetry and two children's books, she has been published in numerous foreign languages. In 2021 she was awarded the Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry, considered one of the most important in the world.
