Lisbon Revisited: Poetry Days 2023
The poetry days are back in a new edition of Lisbon Revisited, the literary festival promoted by Casa Fernando Pessoa since 2018.
Over the course of three days, Portuguese and foreign guests gather around books.
An opportunity to listen to contemporary poets, with very distinct paths, sharing stories about their writing processes, reading poems, and discussing what motivates them.
The UK Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage, will come to Portugal for the first time, as well as Kwame Dawes (Ghana/Jamaica) and Halyna Kruk (Ukraine). They will be joined by Galician poet Chus Pato, who has already been published here, and Portuguese poets Andreia C. Faria, Hélia Correia, João Luís Barreto Guimarães, and Pedro Mexia.
Halfway through the festival, Casa Fernando Pessoa will host a concert by A garota não, where poetry and music are created together.
