Opening Times and Prices

Visiting Casa Fernando Pessoa with a previously purchased ticket has much to be gained in terms of your convenience. Casa Fernando Pessoa is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 6pm. The average duration of the visit to the exhibition is 1 hour.

We welcome our visitors in the expectation of knowing what brings them to Casa Fernando Pessoa. What do they already know about Pessoa, what do they want to ask? Have you summarily heard of this writer or are you preparing an exam for school? Are they foreign visitors who read Pessoa translated to a language that the writer himself did not know a word of?

We accompany visitors throughout the exhibition, commenting on the pieces and sharing odd stories curiosities. We answer to specific questions and we steer the conversation towards the personal interests of those who asked. We give time to silence, to surprise, to emotion. We greatly appreciate the return of visitors: for a second, a third or even further more new experience.

The long-term exhibition has texts, subtitles and other materials in English. The mediators open doors and create bridges to enter the fascinating universe of Pessoa - and they do so in these four languages: English, French, Spanish or German. (bookings for small groups of visitors speaking English, French, Spanish or German at visitas@casafernandopessoa.pt).
