Margarida Ferra
Born in Lisbon in 1977. She graduated in Communication Sciences and studied Museology, focusing on the relationship between museums, people and literature. She has worked in a pizzeria, a newspaper, a contemporary art gallery, the Ajuda Palace, bookshops and publishing houses. She was responsible for communication in museums. She was a part of the team at Casa Fernando Pessoa and was behind the scenes of the first editions of Lisbon Revisited – Poetry Days. She now works at Quinta Alegre, a municipal outreach cultural project in Santa Clara, and dedicates herself to non-fiction: she uses the first person and writes about real people, things and places. She published the poetry books Curso Intensivo de Jardinagem (2010) and Sorte de Principiante (2013) with the now defunct publishing house &etc.
