Lisbon Revisited: Poetry Days 2025
On the 17th, 18th, and 19th of October, Casa Fernando Pessoa will host yet another edition of Lisbon Revisited - Poetry Days - a festival that has, since 2018, been on the rise as a meeting point between poets from different geographies.
This year's edition includes the poets Bernardo Pinto de Almeida (Portugal), Filipa Leal (Portugal), Inês Lourenço (Portugal), Katerína Iliopoúlou (Greece), Najwan Darwish (Palestine), Nuno Moura (Portugal) Slobodan Ivanović (Montenegro) and Stella Nyanzi (Uganda).
For some of these poets, this will be their debut in Portugal, with unpublished translations prepared for the festival.
For three days, there will be readings and conversations around poetry. At the center point of the program, on Saturday, a pocket concert by Manuela Azevedo and Hélder Gonçalves (Clã) brings music into the arms of words.
Lisbon Revisited - Poetry Days is an opportunity to meet and listen to poets from different countries and realities, who join a new audience to share stories, talk about writing, and read their poems out loud. A moment of encounter, exchange and proximity through poetry.
