Bernardo Pinto de Almeida (Portugal)

Born in 1954. He lives and works in Porto. Poet and essayist, he is a professor emeritus at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. He won the Poetry Prize of the National Centre of Culture (2003). His poems are translated into Spanish, Italian, French, English, German, and Russian. Among his works of poetry, we can find E outros poemas (Quetzal, 2002), Segunda Pátria (&etc, 2005), A Ciência das Sombras (Relógio D'Água, 2018) and the more recent Sicília (Relógio d'Agua, 2023). He has numerous publications in the field of essay.
