Filipa Leal (Portugal)

Born in Porto in 1979. Poet, journalist and screenwriter, she has published fifteen books, including Vem à Quinta-feira (Assírio & Alvim, 2016) and Fósforos e Metal sobre Imitação de Ser Humano (Assírio & Alvim, 2019), both finalists for the Correntes d'Escritas Award and semifinalists for the Oceanos Prize. In 2024, she published Adrenalina (Assírio & Alvim). Her work has been published in Spain, Brazil, Colombia, France, Poland, and Luxembourg, as well as in several Portuguese and foreign anthologies. Since April 2025, she is responsible for writing and presenting the literature program "A Pequena Biblioteca" on RTP2.
