Inês Lourenço (Portugal)

Born in Porto, in 1942. She graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures, Portuguese Studies, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. Since 1980, she has published more than twenty books of poetry and micro-fiction. She has participated in several literary events in Portugal and abroad. Her book Ainda o Lugar Incerto da Procura (Glaciar, 2024) was nominated by the critics of Ípsilon supplement of Público newspaper as the second best poetry book of that year. She was distinguished in 2023, as a poet, with the Medal of Merit of the City by the Porto City Council.
