Thiago Ponce de Moraes

Born in 1986, in Rio de Janeiro. Poet, translator and teacher, he has published Espacelamentos (Urutau, 2023) and Dobres sobre a luz (Lumme Editor, 2016), a finalist for the Jabuti Award, among others. He has translated poets such as Louise Glück, John Burnside, Najwan Darwish, Emily Dickinson, Antonio Gamoneda or Rafael Cadenas into Portuguese. He is the coordinator of the ‘World Poetic Movement’ in Brazil. He has participated in several literary festivals, including the International Youth Poetry Festival, in China, in 2024. His poems have been translated into several languages. He is the driving force behind the project @poemateca on Instagram.
