Paola D’Agostino

Born in Italy in 1975, she has been living in Lisbon since 2000. She is the author of the fiction books Tancredi, O Napolitano (VS, 2021), Este Frio e Outras Histórias de Amor (Fenda, 2011), and Largo das Necessidades (Fenda, 2006). She had her debut in Portuguese-written poetry in 2014 with Dançam; Dançam (jointly written with Marta Navarro), followed by Catar Catataus (Douda Correria, 2015) and - in Italian - Occhi da gigante e cuore di perla (Interno Libri, 2025). She has translated Álvaro de Campos and Maria Gabriela Llansol (among other authors) into Italian and has been published in several anthologies and magazines in Italy, Germany, Brazil and Portugal.
