José Luís Costa

Born in 1978, in Lisbon, where he now lives. He studied Classical Languages and Literatures and Conference Interpreting at the Faculty of Literature of the University of Lisbon. He works as a conference interpreter and literary translator from several languages, with a focus on modern Greek. He has translated works by Yánnis Rítsos, Katerína Gógou, Dimítris Lyácos or Yánnis Stíggas. Currently working on the translation of K. P. Kaváfis’ complete poetry, he is also the author of four poetry books, published by editorial houses &etc, Douda Correria and Flan de Tal.
